RIP old fella..... I know how it feels..
My mum passed away in January after a having a crap year with heart and kidney issues looked like she might pull thru then had a fall and was waiting for a procedure but her heart stopped... absolutely gutted was unable to see her for 4 months due to covid restrictions and hospitalisation.

As others have said, time will heal though you wont believe this.
Losing a parent is crippling but eventually you'll smile at the better memory's.

My condolences Cat. As others have said the pain will pass, and he will be always in your heart. I still see my old man in dreams, he's always happy, dreamt he was whizzing around the Thames in a speed boat the other night. Its always great to see him. Best wishes mate.

Death. What a bugger. The great equaliser that penetrates every defence in the end.

Condolences to you. I know what you're going through. I lost my own Dad just a few weeks ago. He was West Ham through and through. He started going with his grandad and finished by going with his grandchildren - 5 generations of Irons! Took me to my first match when I was just 6 in 1969 when Moore, Peters and Hurst were playing. He went once to the London Stadium a few years ago, but by then his health was failing and he said that would be his last visit. He didn't like it compared with the Boleyn Ground. He always got a special pleasure when we beat Spurs, so he would have been looking down last week shouting "Come on You Irons!"
